South Yorkshire Foodbank is a charity that is run by the community and volunteers, and whose mission is to make sure that there is not a single person in our area who is hungry, cold, or feels neglected.
Emergency aid is not the only thing that we provide; we assist people to get out of the crisis and provide an opportunity to live a safe and independent life.
Always give without remembering and always receive without forgetting.
- Brian Tracy
Together, we provide food, warmth, and hope — ensuring no one is left behind.
“Partnering with South Yorkshire Foodbank means more than giving — it’s about making visible change. Together, we amplify your impact, build stronger communities, and create hope that lasts.”
We go beyond emergency aid:
We are here to help you if you are homeless, cannot afford to eat, or are facing hardship.
Your financial support funds everything we do. It allows us to act promptly to the emergency needs, increase our reach, and invest in training programs that lead to a long-term change.
Any donation (large or small) assists directly in keeping South Yorkshire warm, fed, and supported.
We will take in new or returned stock or end-of-season stock. One of the most effective methods of waste reduction and a real change is to transform unsold inventory into life-saving aid.
Your donations — whether from individuals or businesses — keep our shelves stocked and our communities supported.
The bonds created when people work together for a common purpose are the strongest, and each member of the team feels a sense of belonging.
Your time is one of the most precious donations that you can give. Volunteers are the heart of our operations.
